OUR STORY

Dough Boy’s is a locally owned family business founded in 1989 in the surf-town of Virginia Beach, VA, a sunny vacation-land that plays host to millions of visitors annually. Back then the pizza concept was called Dough Boy’s Pasta and Grill, and there was one Dough Boy’s, located at 2410 Atlantic Avenue in the heart of the resort.

The fledgling operation served up a variety of pastas and “specialty pizzas,” some as crazy sounding as Oysters Rockefeller Pizza and Green Piece Pizza, as well as a wide selection of hearth baked subs, 1/2 pound burgers, salads, and unique snacks for beachcombers on the go.

Dough Boy’s Pizza has two Virginia Beach oceanfront locations to serve you on 33rd Street and 24th Street. We offer online ordering at our 33rd Street location only. Free curbside parking from Oct 1st – May 10th.

THE WAVE is a Calzone wave crashing onto a Dough Boy’s Original Pizza. Made to order from scratch. Half of THE WAVE is hand-folded dough with ingredients packed inside like a Calzone, and the other half is flat and is topped like a pizza.

The Pizza is DELICIOUS! We come from an area of many wonderful pizzerias & wing places, so we can be hard to please BUT we were so surprised. This summer me and family visited a Dough Boy's Pizza at 17th street and Atlantic Ave, and I must say it was without a doubt the best pizza I ever had. The service was perfect and I would go there once a week if you had one in my home town in West Virginia. I look forward to eating at your pizzeria next year.
