At Dough Boys we are passionate about our community. To support our customer family we are proud to host events at our restaurants to help raise money for important causes. We also use our social media to help get the word out for your event. This is just one more way Dough Boy’s supports the community. Some of the causes we have supported with fundraisers and social media awareness campaigns are:
Foster’s Fight Fundraiser
Foster is a 2 year old living in Virginia Beach with his mother, a schoolteacher at a local elementary school. He is battling leukemia. We had a fundraiser to help Foster at our Dough Boy’s 24th street location. If you missed it you can still donate at his gofundme page
Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief Fundraiser
The devastation of the hurricane that hit Puerto Rico caused tremendous damage. We, through a fundraiser with a local brewery, helped to raise money for disaster relief.
22 Push Up Challenge
Veterans suicide is an epidemic that really hits home. As the largest military area in the country, we see first hand the effects of soldiers fighting PTSD. In fact, every 22 seconds a veteran commits suicide. The 22 pushup challenge was designed to raise awareness of this issue. Here is a clip about this national movement as well as celebrities that participate.
